Functions and indications: Clear heat, removes toxins, eliminates swelling, and stop bleeding. Used for bloody dysentery, heat type diarrhoea, cough due to lung heat, carbuncles, scrofula, ulcers in the mouth and tongue, vomiting blood, epistaxis, haemorrhoids bleeding, snake bites.
