Functions and indications: Promote diuresis, reduce swelling, resolve toxicity, drains pus. Used for oedema and fullness, beriberi with oedema, jaundice and dark urine, wind damp heat painful obstruction, carbuncle sores, intestinal abscess, abdominal pain.
