Majority of the herbs are manufactured to a 5:1 ratio
What filler is used? Is it Gluten free?
TianJiang uses dextrin as a filler, Dextrin is made to be gluten free.
Why is filler required?
Excipients or fillers are used to prevent herbs from clumping easily, dextrin is more water soluble and commonly used in granule herbs within China and are designed more to be mixed with water and drunk.
Why do my herbs clump?
High heat mixed with humid weather can cause the herbs to clump much easier, it's why we recommend storing them in a cool dry location.
What happens if my herbs comes clumped?
While manufacturing is under strict control, no process is perfect and some errors (although extremely rare) may cause improper sealing etc. which may cause clumping. Just message us and we can send you a replacement.
