Functions and indications: Breaks blood stasis and regulates menstruation, clears toxins and reduces swelling, kills parasites. Used for accumulation of masses, heart and abdominal pain, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia, postpartum blood stasis causing abdominal pain, lochia unable to discharge, hernia, sores, traumatic falls and bruising, abdominal pain due to parasites, burns and snake bites.
