San Qi 三七

Properties: Sweet, Slightly Bitter, Warm.

Channels: Liver, Stomach

Functions and indications: dissipate blood stasis stop bleeding, alleviate oedema relieve pain. Used for spitting of blood, vomiting blood, nose bleeding, blood in stool, uterine bleeding, traumatic bleeding, chest and abdominal stabbing pain, trauma related swelling pain.

Usage and dosage: 3-9g. Grind to powder and swallow 1-3g each time. Eexternally use an appropriate amount.
