Ce Bai Ye 侧柏叶

Properties: Bitter, astringent, Cold.

Functions and indications: cool the blood, stop bleeding, resolve dampness, stop cough, hair growth. Used for vomiting blood, nose bleeding, spitting of blood, blood in stool, uterine bleeding, lung heat cough, blood heat hair loss, early white hair.

侧柏炭 Ce Bai Tan reduced ability to cool the blood, but also enhances its ability to stop bleeding. It does less damage to Spleen and Stomach in this form.

Usage and dosage: 6-12g. For external use in appropriate amounts.
