Chen Pi 陈皮

Properties: Bitter, Pungent, Warm

Channels: Lung, Spleen

Functions and indications: regulate qi, reinforce the Spleen, dry dampness, and resolve dampness. Used for abdomen abdominal distension, lack of appetite vomiting diarrhoea, cough excess phlegm.

炒陈皮 Chao Chen Pi enhanced warming, strengthening quality and is more appropriate for middle jiao weakness with dampness.
