Functions and indications: invigorate the Spleen benefit the Lung; nourish the blood produce body fluid. Used for Spleen and Lung qi deficiency, eating less, listlessness, cough dyspnea due to deficiency, insufficiency of qi and blood, sallow complexion, Heart palpitation short of breath, deficiency of body fluid, thirst, internal heat causing thirst.

Usage and dosage: 9-30g.

Caution:  not to be used with li lu.
