Properties: Bitter, sweet, Cold.

Channels: Liver, Stomach.

Functions and indications: Clear Heat, resolve toxicity, eliminate swelling and disperse masses, induce diuresis for treating stranguria. Used for boils and toxic swelling, acute mastitis, scrofula, redness of the eyes, Sore throat, pulmonary abscess, intestinal abscess, jaundice due to damp heat, painful stranguria due to heat.
