Properties: Pungent, slightly warm.

Functions and Indications: Promoting the sweat and relieving the pathogenic factors from the skin, resolving dampness and harmonize the middle. It is used in treating common Cold with summer heat-damp syndrome, aversion to Cold with fever, headache without sweating, abdominal pain and diarrhoea and vomiting, oedema, and dysuria.
