General Functions and Indications: Astringe and stop bleeding, used for vomiting blood, blood nose, hematuria, hematochezia, excess uterine bleeding.

棕榈炭 Zong Lu Tan enters blood aspect stopping all types of bleeding. Reinforces the medicinal astringent action and allows for better stopping of bleeding. Uncooked is never used.

Usage and dosage: 3-9g, cannot be used without significant blood invigorating herbs when any signs of stasis present due to its strong effects.
