Properties: Bitter, Sweet, Slightly Cold

Channels: Lung, Hear

Functions and indications: Clear heat and moisten the lungs, resolve dampness stop cough, disperse obstruction/ masses and eliminate carbuncles. Used for lung heat causing dry cough, dry cough with less phlegm, yin deficient tuberculosis, blood within the phlegm, scrofula, breast carbuncle, lung infection carbuncle.

Usage and dosage: 3-10g; Grind into powder and take 1-2g each time

Caution: not to be used with Chuan wu, zhi Chuan wu, cao wu, zhi cao wu, Fu Zi
