E Zhu (Cu) 莪术(醋）

Properties: Pungent, Bitter, Slightly Sour. Warm.

Channels: Liver, Spleen

General Functions and indications: promote qi circulation break blood stasis, eliminate food stagnation Relieve pain. Used for fibroid in uterus mass in abdomen, blood stagnation amenorrhea, obstruction of qi in the chest Heart pain, food stagnation distending pain.

E Zhu (Cu) 莪术(醋) Breaks blood stasis, dissipates abdominal masses, stops pain. It can be used for amenorrhea due to blood stasis with pain in the lower abdomen, or blood deficiency and stasis. Abdominal masses due to blood stasis with fixed, palpable masses which may be painful under the lateral costal region.

Usage and dosage: 6-9g.
