Qu Mai 瞿麦

Properties: Bitter, Cold.

Channels: Heart, Small intestine.

Functions and indications: Induce diuresis for treating stranguria, move the blood,  stimulate menstrual flow. Used for stranguria due to heat, blood in the urine, stranguria due to urinary stone, difficulty in urination, dribbling urination with astringent pain, amenorrhoea due to stasis.

Usage and dosage: 9～15g.

Caution: Used with caution in pregnant women.
