Shi Jue Ming (Duan) 石决明(煅) Uncooked it settles the liver, downbears yang. Once processed it Clears the liver and deficient heat, brightens the eyes eliminates film. It is used for Bone steaming ever due to deficient heat caused by yin deficiency with red cheeks, evening fever, night sweats, fatigue. Red painful swollen eyes due to wind heat penetrating the liver channel. Glaucoma, optic atrophy due to heat penetrating the liver channel.
