Properties: Sweet, Slightly Bitter, and Cold.

Channels: Heart, Lung, Kidney

Functions and indications: nourish qi nourish yin, clear heat produce body fluid. Used for qi deficiency in deficiency, deficiency heat, coughing and wheezing phlegm and blood, internal heat thirst, dry mouth dry throat.

Usage and dosage: 3-6g, Decoct and serve separately.

Caution:  not to be used with li lu.
