Zhu Ru (Jiang) 姜竹茹 Uncooked clears the lungs, transforms phlegm. Once processed Harmonizes the stomach, clears the stomach, stops vomiting. Used for Nausea, vomiting due to stomach qi def following qi counterflow accompanied by heat with eructation regurgitation. Heat in the stomach with regurgitation thirst. Accumulation of damp heat in the stomach with chest, epigastric and abdominal oppression and distention a thick yellow slimy tongue coating. Nausea or vomiting during pregnancy due to disharmony of the stomach with chest and epigastric oppression and distention, vomiting in the morning or after meals, loss of appetite. Insomnia, heart palpitations due to disharmony between the fall bladder and stomach accompanied by accumulation of phlegm heat with vertigo, chest distention, anxiety, a bitter taste in the mouth.
