Functions and indications: Tonifies qi and nourishes blood; strengthens the spleen and nourishes the heart. Including symptoms such as Palpitations and anxiety, forgetfulness and insomnia, night sweats, fatigue and poor appetite, sallow complexion, pale tongue with a thin white coating, and a fine, weak pulse. Haemorrhage from the bowels, subcutaneous purpura, menorrhagia and metrorrhagia in women, early menstruation with heavy flow and pale colour, or prolonged spotting; pale tongue, and a fine, weak pulse.
